August 25, 2022, 94, Havelock –

Margie Peacock McComas, age 94, of Havelock, NC passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her home in Havelock with her family at her side.  Margie was born in Snow Hill, NC to the late Milton & Tiny Mitchell Peacock.  She was a member of Cherry Point Baptist Church.

Margie is survived by her children Earl Kearney, Helen Piquette and Tiny Krahn.

Also surviving are her Grandchildren- Ed Kearney, Eric Kearney, Danielle Currence, Ken Krahn, Jason Lego, Diana Piquette, Rachelle Dougherty, Debra Presutto, Lyndsay Addicks, Adam Kearney, David Sasser and Georgia Kearney. Also surviving is 15 Great-Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Children James Sasser, David Sasser and Betsy Lego. Her Siblings Leland Peacock, Vivian Letchworth, Mildred Ashburn, Nancy Harrison. Spouses- Edmond Kearney, Bruce Sasser and Jim McComas.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery 714 Emmaus Church Road Dudley, NC.  The Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.
