August 24, 2022, 79, Princeton –

Linda Pittman Starling, 79, of Princeton passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.  Linda was born on January 4, 1943 in Wayne County to the late James Royster Pittman and Mary Lee Bailey Pittman.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy George Starling; son, James Dwight Laws and a brother, James Edward Pittman.

Linda is survived by sons, Jackie Starling and wife, Kay of Smithfield, and Donald Starling of Princeton; daughter, Angie Heil of Archer’s Lodge; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a brother, Ralph Pittman of Kenly.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations of Princeton.  A Graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2022 with the Reverend Al Sullivan officiating.
