Betty B. West, 92, of Belfast Ave., passed away peacefully at her residence Tuesday morning.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 Hwy 70 West, Goldsboro with Walter Edwards officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon West Carter and her husband, Clifton of Belfast, and Peggy West Kennedy and her husband, Durwood of Goldsboro; son, Bayron West of Hendersonville, NC; and grandchildren, Jody Scott Carter, Durwood R. “Ken” Kennedy, Jr., and Darryl Kennedy.

Mrs. West was born in Greene County to the late Hokie Marie Gray Bartlett and Benjamin Lloyd Bartlett and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard West, and her siblings Victor Handley Bartlett, Cicero Benjamin Bartlett, Barbara West Smith and grandson, Kevin Carter. Mrs. West worked several years in a Medical Office and made a home for her family.
