Seymour Johnson Air Force Base will be conducting an active shooter EXERCISE during the morning of Friday, August 19th. People can expect delays at the gates, use of the giant voice system and to see emergency responders responding for the exercise.

All on-base personnel will be required to follow giant voice and emergency responder instructions, including any directed lockdowns. Active shooter exercises are part of routine training exercises designed to enhance readiness and safeguard base personnel and their families.
