Mrs. Mary L. Smith, 92, completed the Master’s call on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00am at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with the family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

She was born on February 10, 1930 in Wilson County, NC to Ivory Wilson and Cory Lee Newsome Wilson. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
