August 15, 2022, 74, Seven Springs –

Annette Mitchell Carter, 74, passed away Monday at Wayne U.N.C. Hospital. She is the daughter of the late AJ and Minnie Mitchell, and was the widow of the late Edward Carter. She was a member of Walker Memorial United Methodist Church and a retired teacher’s assistant for Wayne County Schools. She enjoyed being outside, working in her roses, or loving on her dogs, Buddy and Eddie Boy.

At this time no formal services will be held.

Annette is survived by her sons, Timothy Carter and girlfriend, Lorraine Coley and Eddy Carter; and a brother, Zeb Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by brothers, AJ Mitchell Jr., Jimmy Mitchell, and Bruce Mitchell; and sisters, Elizabeth Anderson, and Lorraine Carter.
