On Monday, June 21, 2021, at 5:24 a.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department’s Uniformed Patrol “C” Shift responded to a burglar alarm, again at the S&N Quick Mart, where an unknown suspect had shattered a front store window and gained entry through the same. On Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 5:55 a.m., “C” Shift officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Safeway Convenience Mart, located at 1901-B N. William Street. Upon arrival, they found the front glass entry door to the business shattered, but not enough for anyone to gain entry. Video surveillance footage later revealed that the suspect was scared off by the alarm and fled on foot before gaining entry to the business. After subsequent investigations were completed by the Goldsboro Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, a juvenile suspect was developed. The same suspect was the offender in all four of the aforementioned break-ins.
