John Henry Bradshaw, 71, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at his home. Born in Wayne County on April 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Roscoe James Bradshaw, Sr. and Lela Pearl Newell Bradshaw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lula Bradshaw, Pearl Langston, and Shirley Bradshaw; and brothers, James Bradshaw, Ray Bradshaw, Jimmy Bradshaw, Roscoe Bradshaw and Jack Bradshaw.

John is survived by his daughter, Kristie B. Davis and husband, Joseph; three grandchildren, Ryeley Davis, Carter Davis, and Joselyn Davis; brother, Wayne Bradshaw; sisters, Barbara Walker and Carol Davis; and many nieces and nephews he loved very much. He is also survived by a special friend, Teresita Sotoa.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. Interment will follow at the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. during the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
