Betty “Diane” Williams

Betty “Diane” Williams

July 22, 2022, 70, Seven Springs –

Betty “Diane” Williams took her final breath on this earthly journey on Friday, July 22, 2022. She was born in Lenoir County on July 20, 1952 to Betty Diane Williams and the late Lonnie Williams.

A loving daughter, mother, friend and more, Diane was a caretaker at heart. She loved raising her boys and caring for them, they were her heart. Her grandchildren brought her much joy and happiness, giving her a reason to keep pushing, despite her sickness. Diane loved spending time with her mom, her brother, and her cousins, who are more like siblings than cousins. Family was a main passion in her life.

She grew up riding horses, especially her special horse, Flicker. The rodeo was always a favorite of her childhood. As she became an adult, she took great pleasure in working in her yard, watching the beauty and goodness of God grow, as she nurtured and cared for all she planted. Nurturing was just a part of who she was.

Even in some of Diane’s most difficult times of life, she found laughter and dance. She saw the goodness of God through the eyes of her grandchildren. She experienced joys in the middle of the sorrows. She is already missed, but knowing she is with her father, Lonnie and her son, Jamie, brings peace to broken hearts.

There will be no public services held. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie and her son, Jamie. Diane is survived by her mother, Betty Diane Williams; her son, Steve Hinson; her brother, Tony; her grandchildren, and many beloved cousins.

Arrangements are entrusted to Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
