Damage To Myrtle Grove Cemetery

The Mount Olive Police Department responded to Myrtle Grove Cemetery for property damage on July 20, 2022. Officers arrived to find several head stones had been vandalized causing extensive damage.

It is believed the incident occurred within the past week and the Police Department asks that if anyone with information about this crime, or any other crime in the Wayne County area call or text Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or submit a TIP at p3tips.com. Callers will remain anonymous and if your information leads to a misdemeanor arrest with the recovery of drugs, firearms, property, or wanted fugitives and for felony arrests.
