July 21, 2022, 41, Goldsboro –

Ray “Allen” Evans Jr., 41, departed this walk of life Thursday, July 21, 2022 at home.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley. The family will receive friends following the service.

Allen was born in Wayne County on February 17, 1980.  He attended Faith Christian Academy and served as maintenance director for two nursing homes. 

He is survived by his parents, Ray Allen Evans Sr. and Gloria Strickland Evans of Goldsboro; his girlfriend, Janet Hogue of Clayton and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
