Mary Louise Guy May, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at her home. Born in Loveville, Maryland on June 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John Lowell Guy and Mary Louise Long Guy.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Delano May; son, John H. May; sister, Mary Blanche Pilkerton; and brother, John Guy.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Donna May of Goldsboro and Deborah L. Livesay and husband, Cory, Sr. of Scottsboro, Alabama; son, Roger D. May, II and wife, Mary Ann of Nashville; sisters, Barbara Ann Montgomery of Mechanicsville, MD and Jean Elizabeth Burch of Charlotte Hall, MD; grandchildren, John H. May, II, Jenna May, Michael Livesay, Shelby Livesay, Cory Livesay, Jr, Cady May, and Jacob May; and nine great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Chaplain David Schroder officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
