The staff and Management of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Lamb and connected families to announce the earthly departure of Mr. William Lawrence Lamb, of Dudley, NC. Mr. Lamb transitioned at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. William Lawrence Lamb was born to Earthaline Smith in Philadelphia, on August 6, 1961.

He received his formal education in the Wayne County Public Schools and was a 1981 Graduate of Southern Wayne High School. He was employed with Georgia Pacific Plywood Plant for 33 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of the home Kathy Strong Lamb; his children: Demarrico Strong(Shonda) of Houston, Texas; Tonya Strong, Goldsboro, NC; Christopher Lawrence Lamb (LaShell Lamb); 5 grandchildren, his mother; Earthaline Smith Faircloth; sisters: Mary Stewart Faircloth, Robin McCray of Troy, FL; 1 brother; Jerry McClarin (Karen) of Virginia; Aunts: Evelyn Coley (Anthony), Gloria Faison and Virginia Hudson and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be no formal services.
