Laura Hyatt Evans, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro. She was born in Sampson County to the late William and Minnie Hyatt on October 27, 1945. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Wayne Hyatt as well as all of her brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Laura is survived by her daughter-in-law, Stacy Hyatt; granddaughter, Hannah Hyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
