On July 2, 2022, at 12:47 a.m., officers assigned to the Goldsboro Police Department’s Uniformed Patrol “B” Shift responded to the skate park located at 2300 E. Ash Street in reference to an armed robbery during which a white 2017 Nissan Rogue had been stolen by several juvenile suspects.

Later, at approximately 4:42 a.m., “B” Shift officers responded to a “suspicious vehicle” call near the 111 building of Fallin Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located two juvenile males near the aforementioned vehicle and, following a foot chase, both subjects were apprehended and arrested in the parking lot of 1205 N. Berkeley Boulevard.

The vehicle the juvenile offenders fled from was the vehicle stolen during the armed robbery at 2300 E.
