Charles Andrew (Andy) Creech, 82, of Smithfield, North Carolina passed away on June 30, 2022. Andy was born on October 8, 1939 in Smithfield, the oldest son of the late Charles Alderman (Buck) Creech & Bruce Brewer Creech. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Creech. 

Andy is survived by his wife, Phyllis, daughters, Karen & Jody & 5 grandchildren. He was a retired supervisor after 36 years with Universal Leaf Tobacco Company in Richmond, Virginia. Andy was a United States Air Force Veteran & a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield. 

In honoring Andy’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. A reception for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 6, between 5 and 7 pm at Centenary United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall,140 E Market St, in Smithfield.
