Mr. Cleveland “Pookie” Ward, 44, completed this earthly walk on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly (GRDA), 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. The family will have a private interment at a later date.

He was born on March 29, 1978 in Wayne County, NC to Thurman K. Ward and Rose M. Ward. He is survived by his wife, Alicia; his children; his siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
