Bobbie Brown Gray, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her home. Born in Wayne County on August 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Austin Brown and Lizzie Evans Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Gerald Gray and her son, Johnny David Stone.

Bobbie is survived by her four sons, Ronnie Stone (Linda), George Stone (Teresa), Gary Stone (Kathy), and Terry Stone; step-daughters, Carmen Heart (Jeff) and Jackie Peele (Lyle); step-son, Charlie Gray (Stephanie); seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Goldsboro Worship Center, 900 W. New Hope Road, Goldsboro. A service to celebrate Bobbie’s life will follow the visitation at 12:30 p.m. in the sanctuary with Pastor Danny Johnson officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
