Goldsboro Police Make Arrest in Breaking and Entering Case

Larceny Of Motor Vehicle

On May 7, 2022, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department “D” shift took a report regarding a motor vehicle theft from the 300 block of West Pine Street. The case was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division.

On May 14, police observed someone driving the vehicle on Maple Street and then pulling behind an apartment building in the 1300 block of Maple Street. Contact was made with Brittany Ashe Lucas, who was driving the vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the owner, and the investigation continued. 

On May 20, warrants were secured on Brittany Ashe Lucas for one count of Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle and one count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods.

On June 11, Brittany Ashe Lucas, 27, of Goldsboro, was located in Greene County and taken into custody. Brittany Ashe Lucas was then turned over to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, transported to the Wayne County Magistrates Office and served with the outstanding warrants. Brittany Ashe Lucas received a $17,000 secured bond and a first appearance of June 13.
