June 9, 2022, 81, Selma –

Charles Adams Gray, 81, Hwy 13 North, passed away Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
He was a native of Johnston County and the son of the late Alice Bell Stephen Gray and Clem Adams Gray.

He is survived by daughter, Ragen Gray Hamane (Jason) of Fayetteville; son, Chris Gray of St. Augustine, FL; sister, Carolyn Gray Johnson of Midlothian, VA; stepmother, Inez Vail of Goldsboro; stepsister, Pamela Hill Boyette (Tony) of Goldsboro, and Darlene Wilkerson (Mike) of Pikeville; stepbrother, Keith Vail of Pikeville; and very special friend, D. J. of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Selma Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Sunday at Evergreen Funeral Home from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm.
