Sharon Harrell Mills, 61, passed away Sunday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She is the daughter of the late Gordon and Kaye Harrell and is married to William Edward Mills. She enjoyed trips to White Lake and time spent with her dogs, Jax and Millie.

A service of love and remembrance will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. A committal service will follow in Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends following the service.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by a daughter Rebecca Whitley; cousins, Teresa Grantham and husband, Brook and Wendy Thornton; an aunt, Gail Jones; step children, William Mills, Jr. and Tiffany Wheeler and husband, Brian; and special friends, Rose Willoughby and Frances Jones.
