At 8:17 Sunday evening Wayne UNC Hospital went on lockdown for an alleged active shooter situation. According to Wayne County Public Information Officer Joel Gillie, Wayne County Sheriffs and Goldsboro Police are on-scene at this moment.

Multiple officers are currently searching the area for the shooting suspect.
