Ann Cash Thompson, 72, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 21, 2022 while being cared for at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She is survived by her two sons and their wives; Steven and Nicole Quinn of Maryland, and Joseph and Crystal Quinn of Mount Olive; a sister, Rose Leggett of Faulkland, NC; her grandchildren Meranda Strickland and husband Brandon, Zachary Quinn and Fiancée Kassie, Olivia Quinn; and great-grandchildren, , Addison and Grayson Strickland, and Carson Quinn.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Ann will be remembered as a precious Mother and Grandmother who loved and cherished her family. She also loved a good cup of coffee, a mid-night snack, and those daily trips to the mail box to review her latest letters. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Neta Avery Cash, and several siblings. Memorials may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro, and to #HC for the compassion and care shown to Mrs. Ann during her illness.
