Ms. Katherine H. Craft, 73, gained her wings on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. The family will have a private ceremony and will receive friends and family at Terry & Kelly Kornegay’s home.

She was born on Oct 2, 1948 in Duplin County to the late Drifty & Minnie Lee Holmes. Everyone close to her called her Kat. She retired from DM Price & Sons several years ago. Kat loved her flowers & spending time in the yard. She also loved spending time with her son Terry, sister-in-law Chrystal Homes and her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Willard Terry Kornegay & wife Kelly Cox Kornegay. Her grandchildren Evan & Tanner Kornegay, Colby, Dakota and Madison Leary & Jackson Faulk. Her brothers Milton & wife Phyllis Holmes, brother Raeford & Sharon Holmes, Brother Joey & wife Chrystal Holmes. Sister Pam and husband Doug Swinson and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Ken Craft, son Scotty Kornegay & daughter Michelle Kornegay Garrison, grandson Bryant Garrison. Many Siblings, Wanda Davis, Patricia Bowden, Sherwood Holmes, Randy Holmes, Hoyt Lee Holmes, Wayne Holmes & many nieces and nephews.
