The Wayne County Board of Commissioners announced that the Wayne County Summer Youth Employment Program is open for applications for the summer of 2022. The program opens paid work opportunities for high school and college students to learn valuable skills in local government, financial literacy and workplace training.

Participants will work across the County in different departments from June 20, 2022 until July 29, 2022. The Summer Youth Employment Program started as a recommendation from Commissioner Antonio Williams during the Board of Commissioners’ goals retreat earlier this year.
