On May 2, 2022 the Wayne County Board of Education made two proclamations of staff and student support programs.  In a show of appreciation for their hard work, they recognized the Wayne County Public School’s Speech and Hearing staff.

Members also named the Wayne County Public School’s Teachers of the Year for 2022-2023.  The Board proclaimed the month of May as Speech and Hearing Month and the week of May 2-6, 2022 as Teacher Appreciation Week.
