Ashley Jordan Grady, a lifelong resident of the Mount Olive area, passed away early Sunday morning, May 1, 2022, after several months of declining health.

Though only 30 years old, Jordan packed a lot of living in those years. He had been employed in various capacities in several career venues, but his “specialty” seemed to be in cooking and culinary opportunities. He had been in the ROTC during his years in high school.

Jordan is survived by his mother, Linda Kaye Taylor; uncles and an aunt, Shannon and Glenda Taylor, and Douglas Taylor, all of Mount Olive; his father, Michael Grady, Sr. of Rosewood; a special aunt, Harriett “Pee Wee” Wheeler; along with several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elwood and Hazel Wheeler Taylor.

A graveside service to remember the life of Jordan Grady will be Thursday, May 5, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bud Taylor Family Cemetery near Blizzard’s Crossroads.
