The N.C. Department of Labor recognized area employers and employees at the agency’s annual Safety Awards Banquet on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Lane Tree Country Club in Goldsboro. The awards honor outstanding on-the-job safety achievements in 2021. Recipients recognized are located in Goldsboro and surrounding counties.

Kevin Beauregard, Deputy Commissioner of the Occupational Safety and Health Division, provided keynote remarks at the meeting. The event is hosted by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and co-sponsored by Duke Energy, Wayne UNC Health Care, T.A. Loving Co. and Piedmont Natural Gas.
