Edna Louise Sharpe Pridgen Turnage, 90, died Thursday at Countryside Village in Pikeville.

She was a native of Wilson and the daughter of the late Kathleen Dickerson Sharpe and Lee Burl Sharpe. She was retired from the North Carolina School of the Deaf. Surviving are her: two daughters, Katye Pridgen McLean, and Kathleen Pridgen Guzzo both of Wilson. A son, Richard Dallas Pridgen of Elm City.
