Caroline June Thayer, 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Caroline was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 7, 1928 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Scherping. She lived a life of dedication to her family and to her church. Caroline had been a member of the St. Mary Catholic Parish for 35 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of St. Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will greet friends following the service.

Caroline is survived by her children, Andrew Skowronek, James Skowronek, Allen Skowronek, Gerald Skowronek, David Skowronek, Ronald Skowronek, Catherine Raber and Gregory Lark; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat Diehl, Mary Margaret Bauer, Joan Howard and Gretchen Howard.
