Lillie Mae Parker was born April 18, 1962 to Johnny Parker and Thelma Langston. She departed this earthly life on April 10, 2022 at home.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Lillie was raised in Wayne County, North Carolina, and was a dedicated worker at Wayne Opportunity Center for many years. Her favorite hobbies were listening to music, word search puzzles, and reading her Bible.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memory three sisters, Virginia Langston Jones of New York City, Essie Langston of Mount Olive, NC, and Jallen Best of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Robert Langston (Barbara) of Wilson, NC, and Arthur (Bobby) Best of Wilson, NC; several nieces, five nephews, a host of cousins and one special cousin, Linda Kay Brodie and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

 
We, the loved ones of Lillie Mae Parker, would like to thank God for all of the blessings he has given us, the strength given, and for all the people surrounding us who have stood by our family.  We, the family, extend to each to each of you our heartfelt thanks, gratitude, and appreciation for your many acts of kindness during our time of bereavement.  Special thanks to Brandi, Tammy, Shakeita and staff.  May God Bless you all.
