April 9, 2022, 27, Goldsboro –
Allen Michael Lupton, 27, was freed from the cares of this life on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
A 2014 graduate of Rosewood High School, Allen took great interest in anything dealing with nuclear science. Learning did not stop at graduation, as Allen valued his time in learning how to do new things and enhancing his knowledge in new areas.
A movie buff, Allen could recite lines verbatim from his favorites. Anything worth watching once was worth watching again, and he did his best to familiarize himself with all of the new releases as they came out. Far from a novice gamer, he spent many hours behind the console perfecting his craft. Family and friends were the brunts of many practical jokes, for Allen was the best at devising and carrying out the ultimate pranks.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Allen’s life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Pete Norris officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Allen is survived by his mother, Shannon W. Medlin and husband, Phil; father, Phillip Barnes; sister, Brittany Mace; maternal grandparents, Bayard and Kaye Woodard; uncle and aunt, Woody and Michelle Woodard; cousins, Seth Woodard and Micah Woodard; nieces, Chloe and Raelyn; and nephews, Dylan and Sawyer.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given for research on Muscular Dystrophy or to Harvest Fellowship Church, P. O. Box 2, Goldsboro, NC 27533.
Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.
