Mr. Thurman L. Mathis, 70, answered the Master’s call on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11:30 am with a viewing from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on August 15, 1951 in Wayne County, NC to Robert Henry Mathis Sr. and Mildred Wooten Mathis. He is survived by his loving wife, Thomasa D. Jones Mathis; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
