Health Officials Now Giving Second COVID-19 Booster Shot In Goldsboro

The Wayne County Health Department is now administering 4th doses, or second boosters, to individuals ages 50 or older or immunocompromised individuals.

Officials say if you are in one of these groups, you may receive a second booster dose of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine at least 4 months after receipt of a first booster dose of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccines and testing are available at the COVID clinic from 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday and closed for lunch from 12-1pm. No appointment is necessary and walk-ins are welcome.

The clinic is located at 1320 W. Grantham Street (in the old Food Lion near Tractor Supply.)
