(GDN) – Father David Wyly is the latest addition to the Goldsboro Police Department. He joined as a part of the chaplaincy program that supports law enforcement officers and their direct and indirect families. Officials say in the 21st century, police officer wellness is a main focal point. Father Wyly’s pastoral care consists of healing, sustaining, guiding, reconciling, and nurturing personnel and families. Father Wyly comes with experience with the chaplaincy programs from both the Alexandria, Virginia Police Department and the Hillsborough County, Florida Sheriff’s Office.
