CDC Says COVID-19 Levels Down In Wayne County

(GDN) – The Centers for Disease Control says on a scale of Low, Medium or High, Wayne County’s COVID-19 levels are Medium. That’s the latest standings in the community as of March 17, 2022.

Health officials say if you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions, stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and get tested if you have symptoms.

The Wayne County Health Department provides free rapid COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 vaccinations at 1320 W. Grantham Street in Goldsboro (former Food Lion building in the Little River Square shopping center.)
