Reinhold Karl Georgi, 79, of Goldsboro passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Nuesdadt, Germany to the late William and Freida Georgi and was married to Joyce Wiggs Georgi. Mr. Georgi was a United States Army veteran. He had attended church at Salem Advent Church and was a past member of the American Legion. He was a loving husband and father. He also loved his kitty cats and hunting. Mr. Georgi dreamed of going back to his hometown in Germany.

At his wishes, no formal services will be held.

In addition to his wife of 26 years, Mr. Georgi is survived by two daughters, Susy Storie and husband, Kelly of Kenly and Christy Morris and husband, Joseph Earl of Princeton; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Two children, Robert Karl Georgi and Judy Marie Georgi preceded him in death.
