March 14, 2022, 79, Fuquay Varina –

Larry Ambert Martin, 79, passed away on Monday at Addison of Fuquay Varina. He was the son of the late Cedric and Mildred McCullen Martin, and was the widower of the late Mary Elanor Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of Standard Spray Systems. He was a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Martin Price Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and Rev. Jason Dunham officiating.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 at the cemetery.

Larry is survived by a brother, Hugh Martin; two special nieces, Emileigh Drabeck and Ellie Drabeck both of Hockley, TX; and many cousins.

In addition to his wife, Larry is preceded in death by a son, Larry Steven Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Swift Creek Baptist Church, 9300 Penny Rd., Raleigh, NC 27606, Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1519 Thunder Swamp Rd., Mt. Olive, NC 28365 or Browning’s United Methodist Church, 6490 Mt. Olive Hwy, Mount Olive, NC 28365.
