Ms. Mary Sutton Williams, 82, passed on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Lenoir UNC Health Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 10:00 am to 10:50 am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery, 201 N.Forbes Street, La Grange, NC.

She was born on June 9, 1939 in Wayne County, NC to Junious Sutton and Viola Rose Sutton. She is survived by three daughters: Equillia White of the home; Darlene Williams of Grifton, NC and Kimberly W. Grady (Renaldo) of La Grange, NC; two sons: Dion Williams of the home and Anthony F. Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves precious memories with her four sisters: Etta M. Simmons of Goldsboro, NC, Hazel Gonzalez (Ramon) of La Grange, NC, Kathleen Sutton of Goldsboro, NC and Patricia A. Brown of Dudley, NC; one brother, Allen R. Sutton ( Hedy) of Dudley, NC; one aunt, Vermell Hall of Warsaw, NC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
