Lyman Russell Wagner, Jr., 58, passed away at his home in Garner on March 7, 2022 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Edgecombe County on June 10, 1963 to Sharon Abrams Wagner and the late Lyman Russell Wagner.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Melissa (Missy) Dawn Wagner; maternal grandparents, Carl and Virginia Abrams and paternal grandparents, Lennie and Bessie Wagner; aunts and uncles, Louise Harris, Lucy Wagner, Archie Wagner and Harvey and Barbara Abrams.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Abrams Wagner; wife, Kathy Reaves Register Wagner; sons, DeWayne Holloman and wife, Crystal of Dunn, Brandon Register and wife, Charla of Benson, and Jamie Lee Maxwell of the home; granddaughter, Kristen MaKayla Holloman.
