Tammy Weldon King, 59, of the Indian Springs community, Seven Springs, passed away Wednesday morning, March 2, 2022 while at home.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, from 6 until 8 p.m., and will be at the residence at other times. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following in the King Family Cemetery at the residence. Pastor Jeff Tolar will be the officiating minister.
Mrs. King was a long time employee with Mount Olive Kiddie Kollege where her main concentration was caring for small babies that she loved so much.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dannie Mack King, of the home; a daughter, Amber King Rogers and husband, Matthew, of Faison; two sons, Kevin King and wife, Kelly Bronson King, of Seven Springs, and Matthew King, also of Seven Springs; and five grandchildren, Ethan Houston, Landon and Annika King, and Harold and Raven Bass. Also surviving are several siblings in Tennessee and Texas, including a sister, Jowanna Patterson and family of Colorado; her best friend since childhood, Patricia Davis and husband, Bobby, of Texas; special “babies,” Riley Grady, Laylah Grady, Kristen Faulk, and Morgan Chase; her brothers-in-law, Ricky King and Donald King, and their families of the Seven Springs area; and her beloved companion, “Goober,” of the home.
