Ruth Rosser Toler

February 28, 2022, 92, Goldsboro –

Ruth Rosser Toler entered into perfect rest on Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born to the late Joseph Minter Rosser and Nellie Virginia Dixon Rosser on May 5, 1929, in Nash County, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, William Jackson Toler, Sr.; grandson, Glyn Allen; brother, Thomas Rosser; and sister, Elizabeth Rosser Wilkins.

A charter member of Grace Baptist Church, Ruth faithfully served her Lord and her congregation as a Sunday School teacher for many years. Her love for the Lord and knowledge of the Bible helped to shape many disciples throughout her life.

An accomplished seamstress with an eye for detail, those who knew of her abilities would seek her out for hemming, mending, and even re-creating pieces, knowing her expertise was superior.

The love that Ruth held for her Lord was reflected in the way she cared for her family. They were her most prized possession, and the bonds between each of them were strong and eternal.
