15,000 N-95 Respirator Masks Made Available

Rebuilding Broken Places CDC (RBPCDC) announced the distribution of 15,000 N-95 respirator masks to Wayne County churches, organizations and citizens.

RBPCDC was selected by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the public health school of Harvard University that is considered a preeminent school of public health in the world.

John Barnes, CEO, Rebuilding Broken Places stated, “this community health initiative is an integral part of our mission, and we were fortunate to be able to provide these N-95 masks to our community.”

RBPCDC wanted to assure that marginalized communities would have access to the N-95 respirator masks and identified 15 organizations that included churches, nonprofit organizations, housing developments, and meal distribution sites.

Mr. Wright said, “this effort will directly benefit at least 1,500 families within the Goldsboro/Wayne County community.”

There are still masks available. Anyone interested may call 919 581-9178 x 116
