The 14th Annual Career Fair at the Maxwell Center is coming up Wednesday, April 13th and exhibitors are needed for this years event. 8th and 10th grade students including private, home schools and public schools have been invited to participate in the event.
As before, all exhibitors are encouraged to provide some type of interactive presentation into their display. Something simple, like a problem or issue that you have addressed in your business recently. A plumber could bring pipe and fittings that are used in their trade; an engineer could bring drawings from a past job and show the challenges that you faced while creating the drawings; retail merchants can bring their product and show the students how they inventory the products or how they are sold. You never know, you may be the deciding factor for a student to continue his education.
The first group of students arrive at 9:00 am with the last group leaving at 2:35 pm.
