Sherry Weaver Martinez, 49, of Kenly, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Sherry was born in Wake County on June 1, 1972 to Cherry Wayne Watson and the late Donald Ray Weaver.

In addition to her father, Sherry is preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Weaver and Thomas Weaver.

Sherry is survived by her fiancé, Johnny Cantu of Kenly; children, Heather Jones, Eddie Ray Jones, Anjelica Martinez of Micro, Veronica Taylor and husband Kamarei of Micro; grandchildren, Isaiah Escalante and Kayden Taylor; brother, Floyd Weaver and wife Tammy of Kenly; sister, Sherrie Fitzgerald and several other family and friends.

Sherry was a loving fiancé, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She enjoyed fishing and dancing. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton.
