Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 Eleventh Street, Goldsboro, NC, hosted Meals On Us at Goldsboro High School on Wednesday, February 23. Meals On Us is a continuation of DLCM’s mission and vision to Impact the City of Goldsboro. “In times like these, when educators are struggling to meet all the needs of students and the demands that this current pandemic has caused, it is acts of kindness like the one the leadership and congregation of Deeper Life Church Ministries has shown that makes our work feel appreciated,” stated Mr. Ryan Nelson, Principal, Goldsboro High School. “I cannot express in mere words what your outreach means to the staff of Goldsboro High School. Thank you on behalf of myself and the staff for taking the time out to spread Christian love.”

Over eighty meals were served to teachers and staff as a show of support and appreciation for their hard work and dedication. “While we have not forgotten it is our mission to win the souls of God’s people… we also know, that on a very practical level, the physical man must be fed as well,” stated Dr. Aaron McNair, II, Senior Pastor, DLCM.

DLCM will also host Meals On Us at several future locations.  March is Social Workers Appreciation Month. So, in honor of social workers, DLCM will feed 70 social workers at the Department of Social Services (DSS). 

DLCM remembers our little ones at two daycare locations: Meals On Us will be served at KinderCare and Little Warriors Childcare Center on March 3, 2022.

DLCM will show appreciation for our law enforcement as we serve Meals On Us to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department on March 10, 2022.

Meals On Us will continue at Northeast Elementary School- March 23, 2022, 12 Noon.

DLCM will conclude the windy month of March with a partnership with DJ Cole and 4-Day Movement on March 26, 2022. While the plans are not finalized, this initiative is a focus on impacting while feeding the homeless population.
