Ms. Deborah McKinnie, 65, transitioned on Saturday, February 12, 2022. The celebration of her life will be private for her immediate family only. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

Deborah Baker McKinnie lovingly known as Deb was born September 10, 1956 to the late Norma and Joseph Baker Sr. She was preceded in death by two brothers Billy Ray Baker and Melvin Baker.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Billy Ray Baker and Melvin Baker. Deborah leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Shannon McKinnie of the home. Seven sisters, Carolyn Baker Scott and Mildred Baker Perry of Goldsboro, N.C., Constance Baker Wells of Greenville, N.C., Mary (Charles) Alexander, Erma Baker Burnett, and Edith Baker all of Lithonia, GA and Nancy (Husten) Graham of Warner Robins, GA, two brothers Joseph Baker Jr. of Goldsboro, N.C., and Timothy (Shuntaye) Baker of Greenville, N.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
