Mr. Craston M. Artis, 71, passed on Monday, February 14, 2022 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Woods Chapel UAFWB Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Turner Swamp Road, Eureka, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on June 10, 1950 in Fremont, NC to Marvin and Ethel Smith Artis. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Brown Artis, his children, grandchildren, siblings, other loving relatives and friends.
