(GDN) — The Goldsboro Police Department responded to a shooting on the 600 block of Stronach Avenue just before 4 PM on Thursday.  Officers found an 18-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen.  The victim was transported to Wayne UNC Health Care and then airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville where he was listed in critical condition.   The GPD’s Investigation Unit responded to the scene of the shooting.   The Goldsboro P.D. says this is an ongoing investigation.
