On Friday, February 11th, 2022, Brendan Deonté Chance Jr. passed away peacefully to go home to be with the Lord. Brendan Jr. was born February 7th, 2020 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to parents CaMeshia Dewar and Brendan Chance Sr.
A lively, outgoing child, Brendan Jr. was known by his family and friends to be smart, outgoing, and loving.
Brendan Jr. affectionately known as “BJ” or “B.Diddy ” by his family received his education at Playmates Childcare & Development Center in Pine Level, North Carolina where he was truly loved by everyone. He resided in Princeton, North Carolina with Cornelius & Marvene Watson.
Brendan Jr. loved Mickey Mouse, playing with his choo-choo train, and his siblings. He loved to eat and would let you know when he was hungry. His smile was contagious and would light up any room that he entered. He loved his cars and he loved to watch the school bus go by. Brendan Jr. loved everyone around him and would walk up to a complete stranger and give them a hug. He had a special and deep love for his mom and baby sister that no one could deny. Brendan Jr. gave us the best 24 months and 4 days we could ever ask God for.
His family cherishes his memory as the gift that it was. Brendan Jr. is survived by his parents: Brendan Deonté Chance Sr. and CaMeshia Michelle Dewar. Siblings: Sinceré Leigh Daniels, Zaniya Star Chance, Savannah LaNisa Daniels, Maliah Cameron Chance, and Blair Lové Chance. Grandparents: Venisa Chrisp (Baltimore, MD), Cornelius & Marvene Watson (Princeton, NC), Tammy Yates (New Jersey), Maurice & Sharon Dewar (Angier, NC), and Kevin Chrisp (Angier, NC). Also, a host of other relatives and family friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Elderess Michelle Jones officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton. A repass will be announced after the service.
